Introduction

Selective herbicide for application by boom sprayer, used to controls a wide range of difficult perennial and annual broad-leaved weeds in grassland.

Formulation

Emulsifiable concentrate (EC)

2,4-D – Phenoxy Triclopyr – Pyridine (Picolinic acid)

Foliar applied systemic herbicide containing 2 active ingredients (a.i’s). The a.i’s are transported in the plants tissues and works by imitating a plant growth regulator causing rapid growth. This growth causes cells to rupture, preventing food manufacture and translocation, causing the plant to die. Killing the entire plant, including the root material.

Temperature from -10C to +35, keep in original container, tightly closed, in a safe place.

Highly effective against difficult to control woody and herbaceous weeds, including Ragwort, Brambles, Japanese Knotweed, Docks and Thistles.

It is recommended that selective herbicides (weed killers) are applied when the weeds are growing well and when moisture levels are good.

It has a selective action which means it will not harm grasses when applied at the recommended rates.

 

A 7 meter no spray meter buffer zone must be observed from the top of the bank of any static or flowing waterbody or within 1m of the top of a ditch which is dry at the time of application.

 

Genoxone ZX EC must not be applied with handheld equipment.
